New Recipes And Triumphs
This week, I'm diving into new recipes I've tried. Whether they're healthy alternatives or delicious indulgences, I'll share my experiences and tips for recreating them in your own kitchen. Those are my copycat Lara Bars, I was amazed at what I created, you would think it was a decadent desert, not some good for you bar. Join me as I explore the world of culinary adventures!
Recipe:
- 20-25 Madjool dates
- 2 1/2 cups pecan
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder get the best it is worth it.
- 2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- 1 tsp mineral sea salt (using regular salt reduce to 1/2
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- a few chocolate chips ( I used dark chocolate)
First make sure you place pecans in over for 10-15 min this makes a bug difference. The put into food processor along with Cocoa and salt. Pulse until a powder crumble, small pieces, not into nut butter. add vanilla until combine, add cranberry pulse and chips plus until combined.
place in 8x8 pan and place in freezer or fridge, 1 hour. then slice and package in individual pieces of parchment paper. Can freeze for around 3 months.

Health, Episodes, And Healing
I will share my health journey, including episodes and strategies for staying positive and proactive. My goal is to inspire you to prioritize your well-being and discover new healthier options, especially after my recent health scare.
The photo over to the right is me before my heart attack, I did not look bad in 2021, I wish then I would have known what was going on inside my body. There are scans that can be done to see if you are in jeopardy of having of a stroke or heart attack. Today I look totally different but after a year these changes take time, God knows my prayers and thoughts, he knows where I am heading but along this adventure I am doing everything possible to make myself and family healthier. I need encouragement from my family and friends so that I do not stop, those struggles are real especially when you still have health concerns.
I would love some feed back, recipes or just words of encouragement. On my next blog I will give you an in-depth look at all the health problems. Hugs to all my friends and family.

Faith And Fellowship
My faith is a cornerstone of my life, and this week, I want to share my reflections on God as my best friend. I encourage you to share your faith experiences and connect with others who find strength and solace in their beliefs. I grew up in a family that we went to church on Sundays and my great grandmother is the person whom I watched, she was a person of few words but she always prayed and read Gods infallible words. I always had thoughts about this growing up, we will get into this at a later date.
I strayed from God in my older adult life, you know get caught up chasing the almighty dollar, friends and what ever else soothe your soul. I wasted too many years doing the things I and left me emphasize the word "I", that I lost out on so many blessings from God.
I want you to know I found a way back to God, and without God that morning when I was really in need he showed up and showed out, because all I did was cry out Jesus help me, the rest was easy. I will not walk in my own way again. I study the Bible and pray a lot, when I say pray it is not like you think that I am always on my knees in my prayer closet. ( I do have a prayer closet), but I talk and pray even when I am driving, sitting outside, wherever. This does not mean that my trip around this mountain has been easy, no I wish, but I have my life and I am willing to walk around this mountain as long as need be because Jesus is walking with me.
Rehab Friends And Everyday Experiences
I'm excited to share stories about my friends from rehab and the everyday experiences that shape our lives. This blog is for anyone seeking answers, facing challenges, or simply wanting to connect with someone who understands life's ups and downs. My purpose in life is to help others and to leave a legacy for my family.
I will introduce you and tell you about the one person at rehab that has made this tremendous difference in my life. In my next blog we will talk about this thing called cardiac rehab and this is SO important after a heart attack.
